Agbebaku specified that the affected appointees include special advisers, senior special advisers, and others, all of whom were appointed when the Eighth Assembly was inaugurated in June 2023.
“I believe it has been almost two years now, and the House has collectively decided to relieve these appointees, including special advisers and senior special advisers, of their duties as of today, February 19,” he explained.
He also mentioned, “We will meet later to decide on the next steps. However, they will still receive their salaries for this month.”
