Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, has addressed a viral video featuring three alleged kidnappers, confirming that an investigation is underway to verify the details, locate the individuals involved, and take the necessary action.
The video was shared by an X user, Oguntoye Opeyemi, who goes by the handle #Equityoyo, with the message, “JUST IN: Three kidnappers caught in Victory Estate Ago Palace, Lagos. God help us ooo.”

In response, Hundeyin explained that the police were not initially notified about the incident. However, authorities have now launched an investigation to confirm the events.
Hundeyin said, “This matter was not reported to the Police. However, investigations have commenced to unravel what truly transpired, locate the men and take further necessary actions.
“The estate chairman, two other exco members and a resident are currently assisting the Police with the ongoing investigations. Further updates will be provided in due course.”
