Unoma Akpabio, the wife of the Senate President, has accused Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan of tarnishing her husband’s reputation following the Kogi Central lawmaker’s allegations of sexual advances.
During an interview on the Arise Morning Show, Akpoti-Uduaghan, a member of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), claimed that Senate President Godswill Akpabio had made inappropriate advances toward her.

In response, Mrs. Akpabio dismissed the allegations, accusing Akpoti-Uduaghan of fabricating lies for personal gain.
She described her husband as a disciplined and cheerful individual whose actions are often misunderstood.
