Former Foreign Affairs Minister Is Dead
The family of Hon. Chief Dubem Onyia, former Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, has announced his passing at the age of 73.
In a statement issued on Tuesday by Engr. Emeka Onyia on behalf of the family, it was confirmed that Chief Onyia passed away on Monday after a brief illness, surrounded by his loved ones.
Regarded as a statesman and dedicated public servant, Onyia made notable contributions to Nigeria’s diplomatic efforts during his tenure.

He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, siblings, and many friends and political associates.
