Police Speaks On Alleged Burning Of Wike’s Residence In Rivers

The Rivers State Police Command has denied reports that rioters set fire to FCT Minister Nyesom Wike’s residence in Port Harcourt.

Police spokesperson SP Grace Iringe-Koko stated that viral videos claiming to show the incident are fabricated and intended to inflame political tensions.

She confirmed that no such incident occurred and that the state remains calm.

She urged the public to disregard the false reports and warned that those spreading misinformation would face legal consequences.

The police reassured residents of their safety and encouraged them to report any suspicious activities.
