Natasha Names Those To Hold Responsible If Anything Happens To Her

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, has called on Nigerians to hold Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Kogi State Governor Ahmed Ododo, and former Governor Yahaya Bello accountable if she and her supporters are attacked.

She issued this warning in a post on her official Facebook page on Tuesday.

She said, “My dear people of Kogi Central, I look forward to our peaceful Sallah celebrations today.

“However, should we be met with or infiltrated by violence, Nigerians should hold Gov Òdodo, Yahaya Bello & SP Godswill Akpabio wholly responsible.”

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has declared that she will proceed with her planned Eid-el-Fitr visit and homecoming rally, despite a state-wide ban on political gatherings.

She urged her supporters to disregard rumors of cancellation and to join her in celebrating the holiday.

This defiance comes after the Kogi State Government banned rallies and public gatherings, citing security concerns and recent violent incidents.

The Kogi Police Command also advised Akpoti-Uduaghan to cancel her rally, reinforcing the government’s ban.

Akpoti-Uduaghan, however, asserts her right as a senator to engage with her constituents. She has warned that Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Governor Ahmed Ododo, and former Governor Yahaya Bello will be held responsible if she or her supporters are attacked.

Videos circulating on social media show her supporters gathering in anticipation of her arrival. Senator Bashir Haroon shared a live feed of hundreds of women singing and drumming.
