Tinubu Reacts As Galadiman Kano Sanusi Dies

President Bola Tinubu has expressed his sorrow over the death of Alhaji Abbas Sanusi, the Galadiman Kano and a senior kingmaker in the Kano Emirate.

He passed away at the age of 92 following a prolonged illness, leaving behind numerous children and grandchildren, including Alhaji Abdullahi Abbas, the Kano State chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a statement issued by his spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu praised the late Sanusi as a key figure in the traditional institution, whose contributions to its survival and growth will be remembered beyond the Kano Emirate and the state itself.

The President extended his condolences to the government and people of Kano State, the Kano Emirate Council, and the family of the late chief, acknowledging the significant loss.

He prayed that Allah grants the Galadima a place in Jannatul Firdaus and provides comfort to his family.
