Tinubu Appoints Ayo Sotinrin As Bank Of Agriculture MD

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Ayo Sotinrin as the new Managing Director of the Bank of Agriculture (BOA), effective immediately.

This appointment, announced by Presidential Spokesperson Bayo Onanuga, brings a seasoned finance and agribusiness expert to lead the institution.

Sotinrin’s extensive experience spans both private and public sectors, including his recent role as CEO of SAO Group, where he spearheaded major agricultural projects.

Sotinrin’s background includes significant work in development finance, having facilitated substantial funding for infrastructure projects.

His educational qualifications include advanced degrees from Oxford and Warwick Universities, and he has worked in international banking at institutions like the Royal Bank of Scotland and Deutsche Bank.

President Tinubu emphasized that Sotinrin’s appointment aligns with his administration’s goal of revitalizing Nigeria’s agricultural sector to enhance food security and economic growth.
