Popular Opposition Lawmakers Set To Join APC After Meeting Ganduje In Abuja

Three influential figures from the opposition New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Senator Abdurrahman Kawu Sumaila, Hon. Kabiru Alhassan Rurum, and Aliyu Sani Madakin Gini, are preparing to defect to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

This decision follows a significant meeting between the three National Assembly members and the APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, held at Ganduje’s residence in Abuja.

Senator Sumaila represents Kano South, Rurum, the former Speaker of the Kano Assembly, represents Rano/Bunkure/Kibiya, and Madakin Gini represents the Dala federal constituency.
