The New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) in Kano State has refuted rumors that Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso is planning to defect to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Hashimu Dungurawa, the party’s chairman in the state, made this clarification during a press briefing with newsmen in Kano on Friday.
Mr. Dungurawa stated that while Senator Kwankwaso does not need to consult anyone before making political decisions, there are currently no plans for him to defect.
“We have no business with APC, and do not have any intention to defect,” Dungurawa said, dismissing the rumors as mere mischief.
