Oluwole Oke, a six-term member of the House of Representatives representing the Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency in Osun State, has resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

He cited consultations with his political associates, friends, and family as the basis for his decision.

His resignation letter, dated April 16, 2025, was sent to the PDP Chairman in Ward 7, Obokun Local Government Area of Osun State.

However, the lawmaker did not reveal his future political plans. He did advise his loyalists and supporters to also leave the PDP and await his further instructions.
