President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to make a one-day official visit to Katsina State on Friday.
Dr. Bala Salisu-Zango, the State Commissioner for Information, announced this during a press briefing in Katsina on Wednesday.
He stated that the President will inaugurate two projects among the many completed by Governor Dikko Radda’s administration.

The projects slated for commissioning are the Eastern Bypass, which connects Dutsin-ma Road, Kano Road, and Daura Road, ending at Yandaki in Kaita Local Government Area, and the state Agricultural Mechanisation Centre.
The commissioner highlighted that this will be President Tinubu’s first visit to Katsina since taking office in 2023.
He also mentioned that the visit will provide an opportunity for the state to discuss its challenges, particularly insecurity, with the President.
Mr. Salisu-Zango urged the residents of Katsina State to come out in large numbers to welcome the President and to maintain law and order.
