Kolade Alabi, Chairman of Bariga Local Government Area in Lagos State, collapsed unexpectedly on Wednesday during an All Progressives Congress stakeholders’ meeting at the party’s secretariat in Ikeja, the state capital.
Alabi—who also serves as the Lagos State chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria—was speaking to party members when the incident occurred.
Thankfully, he was revived and quickly taken to the hospital in an ambulance for further medical attention.
