In a short video clip that has gone viral on social media, Seyi who happens to be the son of President Bola Tinubu was allegedly blocked from meeting the newly elected Roman Catholic Church Pope Leo XIV inside the Vatican.
Seyi could only watch as his father was accorded the courtesy of meeting the Pope, shaking his hand and exchanging pleasantries.

As two high-ranking church officials guided the Nigerian president to meet the new Pope, a protocol officer seemingly prevented Seyi Tinubu from getting close enough to shake the pontiff’s hand.
The Nigerian president was among various global leaders invited to the “solemn mass marking the beginning of the Pontificate of His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, the 267th Bishop of Rome and the new leader of the Roman Catholic Church.”
The video has drawn reactions on social media with Seyi receiving knocks from many Nigerians.
