Hamdiyyah Sharif, a known critic of Sokoto State Governor Ahmed Aliyu, has been reported missing.
Her lawyer, Abba Hikima, announced her disappearance on Wednesday via his official Facebook page.
Hikima stated that “Hamdiyya has been missing since 10:00 am yesterday (Tuesday).” He added that “She left home to buy food stuff in Sokoto and has not been seen since.”
The Sokoto State Police Command has been informed of her disappearance.
