Hamdiyya Sharif, the embattled critic of Sokoto State Governor, has been located in Zamfara State.
Her lawyer, Abba Hikima, posted an update in Hausa on his official Facebook handle on Wednesday, stating, “We have been informed that Hamdiyya is in the Bakura General Hospital in Zamfara State.”

He further added that “She is in a critical condition. But there are security personnel with her.”
Abba Hikima confirmed that Hamdiyya had indeed been kidnapped earlier
. It was previously reported that Hamdiyya went missing on Tuesday, a fact declared by Hikima on his Facebook handle earlier today.
