The Original Meaning Of Wearing Chains On The Legs Is …… – Pastor Ibiyeomie Sends Strong Message To Ladies Using Leg Chains

Pastor David Ibiyeomie, Founder of Salvation Ministries, has condemned what he calls an “alarming trend of indecent dressing” among young women, specifically criticizing the use of leg chains.

Preaching during the fourth service at Salvation Ministries headquarters, Ibiyeomie warned ladies against blindly adopting worldly fashion trends without understanding their deeper implications.

“Many of you want to be fashionable, but you don’t know the implication of what you are doing,” he stated, as reported by Church Times Nigeria on Monday night X post.

He explicitly linked wearing leg chains to prostitution, declaring, “Ladies who wear chains on their legs simply mean, ‘I am a prostitute.’”

He further explained, “The original meaning of wearing chains on the legs is, ‘you are a whore, you are not in the hotel but you are available.’”

Ibiyeomie concluded by stating, “Wearing chains on the legs is not fashion, it is simply an advertisement for prostitution,” and advised young women to avoid such trends, urging believers to maintain godly standards.
