PSG Thrash Inter Milan To Win First-Ever Champions League Title

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has secured their first-ever Champions League title, dominating Inter Milan with a resounding 5-0 victory on Saturday in what has been described as the most one-sided final in the competition’s history.

The match, held at Munich’s Allianz Arena, saw teenager Desire Doue score twice and set up the opening goal for Achraf Hakimi. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia added a fourth, and 19-year-old substitute Senny Mayulu completed the scoring.

PSG took an early lead in the 12th minute when Hakimi converted a pass from Doue. Eight minutes later, the Parisians extended their lead to 2-0.

In an improbable turn of events, defender Willian Pacho prevented the ball from going out, initiating a rapid counter-attack that culminated in Doue’s deflected shot eluding Inter goalkeeper Yann Sommer.

PSG made it 3-0 after Vitinha’s surging run and exchange of passes with Ousmane Dembele set up Doue for his second goal, which he drilled into the net.

The outcome was sealed by Georgian international Kvaratskhelia’s brilliant low finish, followed by Mayulu rounding off a slick passing move to complete the rout.

Qatari-owned PSG is now only the second French club, after Marseille in 1993, to win European football’s most prestigious club trophy.
