Why Planned Coalition To Unseat Tinubu Is Bound To Fail – Wike

The Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike, has dismissed the planned coalition by political heavyweights, including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, aimed at unseating President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 election, stating it is “bound to fail.”

Wike made this assertion on Wednesday during the commissioning of the Arterial Road N16 (Shehu Shagari Way) and other roads in Abuja’s Katampe district.

The FCT Minister attributed the coalition’s likely failure to President Bola Tinubu’s “good works” since he assumed office in 2023.

He stated, “Some people, whatever you do, will not be happy; many of them were born not to be happy.”

“Under Tinubu, contractors now have confidence in the government. Your good works have killed the coalition in Nigeria.”
