Saudi Authorities Approve Aminu Dantata’s Burial In Madina

Saudi Arabian authorities have granted permission for the burial of renowned Nigerian businessman and philanthropist, Alhaji Aminu Dantata, in the sacred city of Madina.

This was disclosed by his Principal Private Secretary, Mustapha Junaid, who announced that the burial is set for Monday morning.

Junaid shared the update via his official Facebook page on Sunday, June 29.

The statement said, “Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah Alhamdulilah Alhamdulillah, I have received approval to take Aminu Alhassan Dantata from Abu Dhabi to Madina, he will be buried tomorrow morning by the grace of Allah.”

It will be recalled that the family of the late industrialist, Alhaji Aminu Dantata, revealed his wish to be laid to rest in Madina beside his wife, Rabi’a, who passed away in 2023.

In his honour, a special Islamic funeral prayer, Salatul Ga’ib, was conducted in Kano on Saturday. The late business icon died in Dubai at the age of 94.

The prayer gathering attracted thousands of mourners, including prominent figures such as the Deputy Senate President, Barau Jibrin, among others.
