Tension escalated at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) national headquarters in Abuja on Monday when security operatives forcefully removed individuals from a party caucus meeting, resulting in a glass door being shattered.

The incident occurred in the National Executive Committee (NEC) hall where the meeting was scheduled.

Security operatives then intervened, forcibly ejecting them from the hall.

During the physical altercation, the glass entrance to the NEC hall broke, causing a brief disruption.

Eyewitnesses stated that the incident happened as party leaders and other key members were arriving, creating a tense atmosphere and raising concerns about internal party discipline and security.

As of now, the identities of the ejected individuals and their reasons for attempting to access the restricted meeting remain unclear, and party officials have not yet released an official statement on the matter.
