Prominent PDP Chieftain Resigns From Party After 18 Years, Joins ADC Coalition

Hon. Rahman Owokoniran, a respected member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for 18 years, has announced his resignation from the party, citing personal reasons and a desire to avoid potential conflicts.

In his resignation letter to the PDP Mende/Anthony (Ward C) chairman, Owokoniran conveyed his sincere gratitude for the unwavering support he received throughout his time with the party.

This coalition was officially unveiled yesterday in Abuja, with David Mark assuming the interim chairmanship, succeeding Ralph Okey Nwosu.

Furthermore, he chaired the committee responsible for establishing 20 Local Government Areas and 17 Local Development Councils in Lagos State.
