Former presidential spokesperson Femi Adesina stated on Tuesday that his former principal, Muhammadu Buhari, might have died much earlier had he relied on Nigerian hospitals for medical treatment.
During Channels Television’s special coverage of Buhari’s funeral, Adesina addressed critics of the former president’s death in a London hospital.

He explained that Buhari had consistently used London medical facilities even before his election in May 2015, and thus, his UK doctors were already well-acquainted with his medical history.
Adesina also suggested that some Nigerian hospitals lacked the necessary facilities and specialized expertise for the ex-president’s specific medical needs.
