Former President Muhammadu Buhari’s body has arrived at Katsina Airport, landing at approximately 1:59 PM.
The Nigerian Air Force aircraft carrying his remains, draped in the Nigerian flag, was accompanied by Vice President Kashim Shettima, Chief of Staff to the President Femi Gbajabiamila, and some family members.

On the ground to receive the revered leader’s corpse at the Umaru Musa Yar’adua International Airport in Katsina were Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State, members of the Katsina State Executive Council, Deputy Senate President Barau Jibril, and other dignitaries, alongside more family members.
Following a military farewell at the airport, Buhari’s remains will be transported to Daura, his hometown, for burial.
