Katsina State Governor Dikko Radda was involved in a minor road accident on Sunday evening while traveling along the Daura–Katsina Road.
The incident occurred after the governor had visited the residence of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura to receive condolence messages from mourners.

His Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Mohammed, confirmed the accident in a statement released on Sunday, assuring the public that the governor sustained no serious injuries.
“We are pleased to confirm that the Governor is in good health and stable condition, with no serious injuries sustained,” the statement read.
Mohammed added that Governor Radda “remains in high spirits and expresses his gratitude to Almighty Allah for His protection, as well as Katsina citizens and well-wishers for their prayers and concern.”
