President Bola Tinubu has bestowed the national honor of Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) upon each member of the Super Falcons in recognition of their WAFCON victory.

In addition to the national honor, President Tinubu announced a monetary award for the team: $100,000 (naira equivalent) for each of the 24 players and $50,000 for the technical team.
He also awarded a three-bedroom apartment to each of the players.
