President Bola Tinubu admitted on Monday that he deliberately avoided watching the Super Falcons’ WAFCON final match live, citing concerns about his blood pressure.1
While receiving the victorious team at the Presidential Villa, Tinubu revealed the immense tension of the game was “too much to bear.”

He humorously recounted, “I didn’t want to watch the match initially because I don’t want high blood pressure. My wife was cooking my food in the kitchen, rushed out to tell me we have won.”
