Ighodalo Speaks On Alleged Defection

Dr. Asue Ighodalo, the PDP’s governorship candidate in the last Edo State election, has denied leaving the party.

His campaign organization, TAMO, issued a statement on Monday dismissing a viral video that claimed he had defected.

TAMO advised the public to ignore the video, calling it a deliberate attempt to cause confusion and weaken the party’s momentum.

“Dr. Ighodalo remains a member of the PDP,” the statement read.

“We urge the public to disregard this baseless fabrication and the mischief behind it.”

Ighodalo’s media team stressed that he remains fully committed to the PDP’s goals and his vision for a “prosperous and safe Edo.”

The team added that the former candidate is focused on building up the party to better serve the needs of the people.
