The statement clarified that “All nominations are subject to Senate confirmation.”
To ensure there is no “leadership vacuum,” the President has directed that Ramat, a 39-year-old electrical engineer, assume the role of acting Chairman pending his screening and confirmation by the Senate.
President Tinubu concluded by urging the new appointees to “use their knowledge and experience to discharge their functions and work assiduously to advance the administration’s power sector vision.”
