How Tinubu Was Welcomed Back To Nigeria After Japan, Brazil Trips [VIDEO]

President Bola Tinubu “returned to Abuja on Thursday, following diplomatic engagements in Japan and Brazil.”

According to his spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, the presidential jet “touched down early morning on Thurday” after departing Brasília on Wednesday afternoon.

In Japan, Tinubu attended the “opening ceremony and plenary of the ninth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD9)” and held “bilateral meetings” before an “interactive session with members of the Nigerian community.”

During his visit to Brazil, he met with President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and other senior Brazilian officials.

The two leaders “held private discussions and oversaw the signing of five Memoranda of Understanding” (MoUs), which spanned key sectors such as “aviation, foreign affairs, science and technology, and agriculture.”

Upon his return, the President was “welcomed by a host of dignitaries and officials.”
