Tinubu Hails Shettima At 59

President Bola Tinubu has celebrated Vice President Kashim Shettima on his 59th birthday, describing him as a “loyal partner” in building a more prosperous Nigeria.

In a goodwill message shared on X by his aide, Bayo Onanuga, on Monday, the President called Shettima his “brother, partner, and dependable deputy.”

Tinubu highlighted Shettima’s “courage, tenacity, and unwavering belief in Nigeria’s greatness,” stating that his track record in governance shows “leadership is service, not privilege, even in the face of immense challenges.”

He said, “In choosing you then as a partner, I selected competence and other qualities that Nigeria could depend on. Every day, as Vice President, you have justified that choice by strengthening our work, bringing fresh perspectives, and upholding our commitment to Nigerians.”

The President added that Shettima’s “vibrancy, loyalty, and support” had strengthened the administration’s resolve to deliver on its “Renewed Hope Agenda.”

He also said their relationship “is a bridge across regions and traditions” and “an example worthy of emulation by those who aspire to lead.”

Tinubu concluded by expressing confidence that their collaboration would continue to yield positive results for Nigerians.
