President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Terry O. Okorodudu, a prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State.
Okorodudu, who died on “September 9” at the age of “70,” was remembered by the President as a “steadfast ally, seasoned military officer, and committed party leader.”
In a condolence message on Thursday, made available by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu commiserated with the Okorodudu family and the late officer’s associates.

He described the deceased as “my political ally for many years,” adding, “AVM Okorodudu was my political ally for many years.
He rose to the peak of his career and mentored countless officers. He worked diligently and selflessly for our country. I pray that Almighty God will grant his soul eternal rest and comfort his family.”
A retired senior officer of the Nigerian Air Force, Okorodudu was commissioned on “January 5, 1976.”
He served in “key capacities,” including as Defence Attaché at the Nigerian Embassy in Moscow.
He also contributed to the aviation sector as the “pioneer Managing Director of Aeronautical Engineering and Technical Services Limited” and chaired the “Board of Trustees of Harry’s Friends Club.”
Within the APC, Okorodudu played a “strategic role” as a member of the “security committee of Tinubu’s 2023 Presidential Campaign Council.”
