Bolaji Abdullahi’s Response When Asked If Coalition Have Resolved To Dump ADC For ADA

The National Publicity Secretary of the African Democracy Congress (ADC), Bola Abdullahi, “has dismissed reports that the opposition coalition members have resolved to dump the party and adopt the All Democratic Alliance (ADA), to challenge the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections.”

This statement follows the news that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced that the ADA had “scaled the first hurdle of the process” of registration.

This led to reports that the opposition coalition, which adopted the ADC in July, would “pitch tent with the ADA” once it was fully registered.

Reacting to the rumor, Bola Abdullahi told a Daily Trust correspondent that there was no truth to it and that the coalition is committed to the ADC.

In a message, he said, “There is no such thing. We have moved on from that. ADC is our party.”
