On Monday, President Bola Tinubu “approved portfolios for five Executive Directors on the Board of the North Central Development Commission (NCDC)” to “strengthen the Commission’s capacity to deliver on its statutory mandate.”
The appointments were announced in a statement by Segun Imohiosen, the Director of Information and Public Relations in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.

The appointees and their new roles are:
- Hajia Biliquis Jumoke Sanni: Administration and Human Resources
- Aisha Rufai Ibrahim: Commercial and Industrial Development
- James Abel Uloko: Corporate Services
- Professor Muhammad Bashar: Finance
- Princess Atika Ajanah: Projects
Tinubu charged the new directors to “work closely with the Governing Board of the NCDC in promoting and coordinating the sustainable development of the North-Central geopolitical zone.”
The NCDC was established to drive “rehabilitation and development efforts” and “address the challenges of infrastructure deficit, insecurity, and economic imbalance in the area.”
