Natasha Returns As Senate Resumes Plenary After 10-Week Recess [VIDEO]

The Senate resumed plenary session on Tuesday following a 10-week recess, with Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin presiding over the proceedings.

A noticeable presence in the chambers was the embattled Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central, who was returning to legislative duties after a six-month suspension.

Conspicuously absent at the time of resumption was the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio.

Despite his absence, the plenary saw a significant turnout of senators, signaling a full return to legislative activities.

In a show of international solidarity, some senators arrived at the chamber dressed in Palestinian colors and attire, advocating for a free Palestine.
