APC Disqualifies Kayode Ojo From Ekiti Governorship Primary

Ahead of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary scheduled for October 27 in Ekiti State, the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) has disqualified one of the aspirants, Kayode Ojo.

It will be recalled that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has set July 20, 2026, as the date for the Ekiti governorship election.

Speaking to journalists in Abuja on Thursday, the APC Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Duro Meseko, announced that Governor Abiodun Oyebanji and Omolayo Oluremi have been cleared to participate in the party’s primary election.
