They are seen sending a strong message to President Bola Tinubu concerning Kanu.

Kanu was sentenced to Life Imprisonment on November 20th, 2025 after being convicted of terrorism charges.

On November 20, 2025, Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court in Abuja delivered the landmark verdict.

The court found Nnamdi Kanu guilty of terrorism-related charges, specifically for inciting violence and directing deadly attacks on security forces through his broadcasts.
