Taraba Governor Agbu Kefas Resigns From PDP, Joins APC

Taraba State Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas, formally resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Sunday and officially registered as a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Governor Kefas announced that a “public declaration ceremony” to formally mark his defection would be scheduled soon.

After receiving his APC membership card during the registration ceremony conducted by the Taraba State APC executives, the Governor explained the rationale behind his decision.

He stated that joining the APC was driven by his desire to align with President Bola Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope” agenda.

He further elaborated that moving to the APC would position him to “better attract development projects and resources to Taraba State.”
