Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani has reacted to the viral video showing Senator Adams Oshiomhole rubbing a woman’s foot aboard a private jet.
The viral video has ignited a firestorm of criticism across social media.
While initial online speculation suggested the woman in the footage was his wife, Iara Fortes, an investigation by SaharaReporters has debunked those claims.
The report identifies the woman as a South African lifestyle influencer and adult-content creator, known by the social media handle @leshaandagama.
On her profile, she reportedly describes herself as a “professional sugar baby” and explicitly warns those without financial means to “stay away.”

The short clip, which surfaced on Monday, February 2, 2026, depicts the Edo North Senator in a relaxed and jovial mood while attending to the woman’s foot in the luxury aircraft.
This display has drawn sharp rebukes from Nigerians, who point to the stark contrast between Oshiomhole’s background as a former textile worker and Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) president and his current lifestyle.
Critics, including human rights lawyer Deji Adeyanju, have slammed the Senator, with Adeyanju describing him as a “former textile worker living like Pablo Escobar.”
Others, such as activist Omoyele Sowore, linked the video to Oshiomhole’s recent controversial claims that food prices have dropped, stating that the Senator is “speaking from 30,000 feet” and is disconnected from the economic hardships faced by ordinary citizens.
Sani on his part took to his social media account on X to react to the video and the revelation of the identity of the lady.
He wrote on X: @ShehuSani: In the spirit of the Struggle,Comrade Adams was just with a fellow comrade from South Africa.What is the problem with you people?

Oshiomhole’s political career has been marked by both populist activism and high-level controversy.
After leading the NLC and serving two terms as Governor of Edo State, he became the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) before his suspension in 2020.
More recently, in June 2025, he was involved in a public dispute with Air Peace at Lagos Airport following a missed flight.
As of Tuesday, February 3, 2026, Senator Oshiomhole has not issued a public response to the viral footage or the subsequent reports regarding the identity of the woman.
