The South African content creator at the center of the viral private jet controversy involving Senator Adams Oshiomhole has explicitly rejected the lawmaker’s claim that the footage was fabricated.
The woman, a lifestyle influencer and adult-content creator, took to her Instagram status on Friday, February 6, 2026, to directly challenge the Senator’s “AI” defense.
In a brief post seen on Friday Morning, she wrote: “Video wasn’t AI but okay believe your senator.”
This follows her earlier dismissal of online critics where she stated, “Your senator is the problem go be mad at him not me.”
The controversy stems from a 30-second clip showing a man resembling the Edo North Senator massaging the woman’s foot aboard a luxury jet.
While initial online rumors suggested the woman was Oshiomhole’s wife, Iara Fortes, investigations confirmed her identity as a South African influencer who describes herself on her profile as a “professional sugar baby” and warns broke individuals to “stay away.”
Senator Oshiomhole has vehemently denied involvement, with his media aide, Oseni Momodu, labeling the footage a “poorly crafted and edited fake AI video.”
The official statement urged the public to “jettison the false narrative circulating to blackmail the people’s Comrade.”

The Senator’s team characterized the leak as an “awkward height of insensitivity by unguarded power seekers” and “criminal cyberbullying.”
Oshiomhole himself argued that a close examination of the clip reveals a “contraption,” claiming: “Close examination of the alleged clip, especially up till 0.6 seconds, where the lady walked through the airstairs, and the remaining 23 seconds of the alleged footage of Senator Oshiomhole significantly revealed disparity, glaringly suggesting a contraption.”
He further used the incident to advocate for social media regulation, blaming “‘obubuyeye’ content creators” who manipulate content for “dollar-rating pay.”
The backlash is intensified by Oshiomhole’s political history as a former Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) president who once led strikes against fuel price hikes.
Critics argue that his alleged display of luxury—coming on the heels of a June 2025 airport altercation over a missed flight—represents a sharp departure from his roots as a labor activist.
For many Nigerians, the video has “reignited conversations about political excess, elite privilege, and widening inequality in Nigeria.”
