On Friday, Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri officially switched his allegiance to the ruling All Progressives Congress.
During a broadcast to the entire state, the governor announced that “he decamped with his entire cabinet and all Peoples Democratic Party officials.”
Explaining the motivation behind this major political shift, Fintiri stated that “his action was for the developmental interest of the people of Adamawa State.”
