Former Rivers Gov Rotimi Amaechi’s convoy was blocked and attacked by gunmen en route to his Ubima ward in Ikwerre LGA for ADC revalidation.
They had torched the local ADC office the night before, then intercepted the vehicles with gunfire.
Security fired back; footage shows chaos, people fleeing on foot, dust from maneuvering cars.
