President Bola Tinubu has finalized the official assignments for 65 ambassadors-designate, comprising 31 career diplomats and 34 non-career appointees.
This follows the earlier confirmation by the Senate on “December 18th, 2025.”
The President has also mandated that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs “immediately commence the induction programme for the ambassadors-designate and High Commissioners.”
