Channels Television’s Seun Okinbaloye has declared that he remains undeterred and will not succumb to intimidation despite the recent friction with FCT Minister Nyesom Wike.

During a Sunday broadcast, the anchor expressed gratitude to viewers, civil society, and international bodies for their overwhelming support.

The tension stems from a media parley where Wike slammed Okinbaloye’s analysis of the leadership rift within the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Okinbaloye had suggested the crisis might weaken the opposition and pave the way for a one-party state ahead of the 2027 elections—a perspective the minister dismissed as stepping outside the bounds of professional journalism.
