Nollywood star Azubuike Michael, famously known as Zubby Michael, has officially made his entry into politics by joining the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
The actor completed his membership registration on Saturday in his hometown of Ozubulu, Anambra State.
Confirming the move via his Instagram handle, Zubby Michael posted a video of himself receiving his ADC membership card.
He captioned the post with a direct message to his fans: “I dey my village, enough of the talking online, I don involve.”
The video also captured a suggestive remark from the host of the event, speaking in Igbo, which hinted that the actor might be eyeing a seat in the House of Representatives.
The host was heard saying: “We want someone who is hot-blooded, not someone cool, who will go for a House of Representatives seat.”
Despite the host’s comments and the excitement surrounding his registration, Zubby Michael has not yet officially declared his intention to run for any elective office.
