The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has formally published its revised Convention Committee and Subcommittees rosters in preparation for its upcoming national gathering.
According to a statement released by National Publicity Secretary Bolaji Abdullahi, the party implemented these updates to bolster organizational coordination and guarantee a transparent and reliable convention process.
The list identifies former Cross River State Governor, Senator Liyel Imoke, as the convention chairman.
He will be supported by former Sokoto State Governor, Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, as vice chairman, with Dr. Ajuji Ahmed acting as secretary.

The 22-member planning committee features a “who’s who” of Nigerian political heavyweights, including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi.
Joining them are former Kano State Governor Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi, former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, and former Imo State Governor Achike Udenwa.
Other notable figures on the roster include former Attorney General of the Federation Abubakar Malami, SAN, and former Imo State Governor Emeka Ihedioha.
The party also detailed specific leadership changes for its subcommittees: former PDP National Publicity Secretary Kola Ologbondiyan will lead the media and publicity team, Lauretta Onochie has been appointed to head the new media subcommittee, and Honourable Chille Wanger Igbawua will serve as the vice chairman for the electoral affairs committee.
The ADC has called upon all appointees to fulfill their duties with high levels of diligence while encouraging party stakeholders to rally behind the convention process.
