On Monday, former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai was present at the Kaduna State High Court for the resumption of his trial brought by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).

Footage from ARISE NEWS captured the former governor, dressed in a traditional agbada, moving through a courthouse hallway crowded with legal teams, supporters, and observers.
Just prior to the start of the court session, El-Rufai was recorded in a brief conversation with an aide concerning the African Democratic Congress (ADC) national convention set for Tuesday.

He was heard asking, “So tomorrow is our convention, right?” to which the associate responded, “Insha Allah (God willing).”
This interaction underscores El-Rufai’s persistent role in opposition political activities even while contending with his current legal challenges.
