Super Eagles Arrive In Nigeria After Libyan Airport Ordeal

The Super Eagles have returned to Nigeria following their difficult experience in Libya during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier.

Players and officials were stranded for approximately 13 hours at a Libyan airport before the match scheduled for Tuesday.

Images of the team sleeping on benches circulated widely on Monday, drawing criticism from Nigerian authorities.

The team has now arrived safely in Kano.
