The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has removed the Group D second-leg match of the ongoing 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifiers between Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Libya’s Mediterranean Knights from its fixture list.
CAF shared an updated schedule on its X handle on Tuesday, which excluded the previously scheduled Libya vs. Nigeria game.

Originally, the match was set to take place in Libya at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, following the first leg played at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo last Friday.
In that match, the Super Eagles secured a late 1-0 victory against the Mediterranean Knights.
However, the second leg has been clouded by controversy, as Super Eagles players and officials revealed they endured a 14-hour ordeal at a Libyan airport, forcing them to return home.
