Former Minister of Women Affairs, Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, has expressed her continued commitment to serving Nigeria and her determination to contribute to the nation’s progress and prosperity.
Ohanenye was one of five ministers relieved of their duties after the 19th Federal Executive Council meeting held at the State House in Abuja on Wednesday.
In her place, President Bola Tinubu has reappointed Imaan Suleiman-Ibrahim, the former Minister of State for Police Affairs, as the new Minister for Women Affairs.
The President extended his gratitude to the outgoing ministers for their service and wished them well in their future endeavors.

In a letter of appreciation shared with journalists on Thursday, Ohanenye thanked President Tinubu for the opportunity to serve as Minister, calling it a profound honor to contribute to the nation’s development.
She also expressed her gratitude to First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu for her invaluable guidance and support during her tenure, which she credited as crucial to her success.
Ohanenye further acknowledged the unwavering support of Nigerians, noting that their trust and confidence served as a significant source of inspiration for her work.
